Here’s When ACE Will Install Reclosers In Ocean City
Atlantic City Electric is installing special equipment to reduce the number of customers affected by power outages. Atlantic City Electric will continue installing reclosers in Ocean City next week, officials said. The equipment is being installed to reduce the number of power outages in Ocean City.
Recloser installation will require service interruptions as crews replace poles, transformers and wires this winter. Here is the tentative schedule for service interruptions for Jan. 28, 2019 through Feb. 1, 2019 — weather permitting:
Monday through Thursday:
- On West Avenue between 10th Street and 11th Street: no planned service interruptions.
- On 14th Street between Haven Avenue and Asbury Avenue: service interruptions will occur.
Friday:
- On 17th Street between West Avenue and Asbury Avenue: service interruptions will occur.
