Ocean City’s annual baby crawling race, Pamper Scamper, returns at the 6th Street beach. Registration is free and starts at 8:30 a.m., with the contest starting at 9 a.m. This event is for babies up to 15 months.

Enjoy family fun at Asbury Avenue with Funtastic Tuesdays. Entertainment, face painting and balloon sculptors are available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Aug. 10

The weekly Farmers Market is held at Tabernacle Grounds from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crafters are in the street at 6th and Asbury Avenue.

In this week’s Wacky Wednesday, participants will create their own lei and dads compete in a hula contest, from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Music Pier.

Aug. 11

Enjoy Market Days on Asbury Avenue with fun from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then the family can have fun at Family Nights with entertainment on the Boardwalk from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 6th Street and 14th Street.

City Council meets at 7 p.m. As of Sunday evening, no agenda has been posted.

Aug. 13

Join the Ocean City Fishing Club for the OCFC Boys & Girls Fishing Tournament at the North-End Beach by the Longport Bridge. This event starts at 9 a.m. and is free for children ages 8 to 16. Participants must bring their own bait and fishing equipment.

The Miss Ocean City 2023 competition will be held at 7 p.m. at the Music Pier.

Aug. 14

Tony nominee Elizabeth Stanley makes her Ocean City debut with the Ocean City POPS at 7:30 p.m. at the Music Pier.
