NJ’s Summer Ice Cream Tour Stops At This Ocean City Spot

There’s nothing better on a hot summer day than cooling down with some sweet ice cream. And residents are encouraged to visit several different New Jersey ice cream parlors with the return of the “I Licked My Way Through NJ” ice cream tour, which features a great Ocean City spot.
The tour, hosted by New Jersey members of the North American Ice Cream Association, kicks off June 1 and runs through Aug. 18. Here’s how it works: stop in at any of the tour locations to pick up a card. Then, visit as many participating stores as possible, ordering ice cream and getting your card stamped in the process.
One of the participating stores is the award-winning A La Mode Ice Cream Parlor, located at 301 E. 55th St. in Ocean City.
