Former Foreigner Singer, Asia To Perform In Ocean City
Lou Gramm and rock band Asia will perform Aug. 5 at the Ocean City Music Pier.
Ocean City might be “Cold As Ice” now, but that won’t be the case when Foreigner’s original frontman, Lou Gramm, performs at Ocean City Music Pier. The Aug. 5 concert will also include Asia featuring John Payne.
Tickets will go on sale Thursday. A pre-sale takes place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday (use code BRE). For more information and tickets, visit www.ocnj.us/SummerConcerts.
Gramm was Foreigner’s lead singer during their most popular run in the 70s and 80s, when they released hits such as “Hot Blooded,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” He has also released four solo albums.
Asia, which produced “Heat of the Moment,” renamed themselves Asia Featuring John Payne in 2007. Payne had been Asia’s lead singer and bassist from 1992-2006.
