Celebrate Christmas in July this week and more in Ocean City.
Welcome to the July 22 edition of the Monday Manual, highlighting important and fun events in Ocean City.
Here’s what’s in store:
Monday, July 22
- Start the week off with yoga on the beach at 8 a.m. on 6th Street Beach Volleyball Courts.
- Family Nights return to the Boardwalk from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 8th Street and 12th Street. There are jugglers, music, characters and more.
Tuesday, July 23
- Beach walks return at 59th St. & Central Ave. (entrance to Corson’s Inlet State Park) every Tuesday at 9 a.m.
- It’s Funtastic Tuesdays on Asbury Avenue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with entertainment, face painters and balloon sculptors.
- Enjoy “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” by The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company at 10:30 a.m. at Music Pier.
- It’s Mummers Night on the Boardwalk, strutting down 6th Street to 14th Street from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, July 24
- The farmers market returns to the Ocean City Tabernacle grounds from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Start the day off with beach Pilates on 6th Street Beach Volleyball Courts. It’s free; just bring a towel.
- Wacky Wednesday is back with Christmas in July at Music Pier. Meet Santa while he’s on vacation, enjoy a special craft and play Christmas Music Bingo starting at 10:30 a.m. You must be present at start time to participate.
- Beach walks return at 59th St. & Central Ave. (entrance to Corson’s Inlet State Park) every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
- Family Nights return to the Boardwalk from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 6th Street and 14th Street. There are jugglers, music, characters and more.
- The Zoning Board meets in the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center at 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 25
- It’s Market Days on Asbury Avenue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with entertainment, face painters and balloon sculptors.
- City Council meets at 10 a.m. at City Hall. No agenda has been posted as of Sunday evening.
- The Ocean City Fishing Club invites all to their open house at 6 p.m. at 14th Street and Boardwalk. Learn more here.
- It’s Mummers Night on the Boardwalk, strutting down 6th Street to 14th Street from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, July 26
- Start the day off at 8 a.m. with a low-impact beach exercise on 6th Street Beach Volleyball Courts. It’s free; just bring a towel.
