Ocean City Among The Best In NJ, Cape May County: Niche

New rankings put Ocean City among some of the best places to live in New Jersey and in Cape May County, according to the 2023 Niche “Best Places” rankings.
The platform released the 2023 Best Places to Live in America list on Monday, along with rankings by state. Read about their methodology here.
According to Niche, Ocean City ranks as the 436th best place to retire in America – which doesn’t sound like much, but considering it’s out of 12,677, that puts it pretty high. It’s also in the top fifth of best places to live in the country, Niche says.
Niche gives Ocean City an overall “A” ranking. Here’s the breakdown:

- Crime & Safety: B-
- Housing: C-
- Nightlife: A-
- Good for Families: A
- Diversity: B
- Jobs: B
- Weather: B-
- Cost of Living: C+
- Health & Fitness: A-
- Outdoor Activities: A
