Summer is coming to a close, school will start back up again soon and vacation time is almost over.
This week marks the end of some of Ocean City’s beaches being guarded, as the season slows down and many lifeguards return to school. You can still lay out a towel and enjoy these beaches, but the Ocean City Beach Patrol strongly urges beachgoers to only swim where there are lifeguards.
Beaches are guarded on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
