Trash, Recycling Drop-Offs to Continue on Sundays

Ocean City will continue a new service that allows residents to drop off trash and recycling at the Shelter Road Recycling Center on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The pilot program had been scheduled to end after the Fall Block Party, but because it was such a success, it will now extend through the end of the year, the city announced.
This convenience has long been requested and serves residents who may not be at their Ocean City homes during the regularly scheduled trash and recycling pickup days during the week. The service is not designed for bulk trash or commercial operators.
