8 Things To Do In Ocean City Through Labor Day

Summer is coming to a close. Here are eight concerts and activities to help you make the most of this week in Ocean City.

Concerts

A Salute to the 100th Anniversary of the American Legion7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Music Pier

The Ocean City Pops celebrates the American Legion’s 100th anniversary with works by Morton Gould, Aaron Copland, Leroy Anderson and Irving Berlin, among others. Tickets are $15 to $20.

The Swon Brothers and Josh Gracin7:30 p.m. Friday, Music Pier

Ocean City gets a little bit country. The Swon Brothers burst onto the scene in 2013 by bringing country music to NBC’s “The Voice,” and they continue to tour. Gracin first hit the country-music charts 15 years ago.

The country show is a first for the Ocean City Music Pier, with has long held concerts for the Ocean City Pops, rock stars and other performances.

“A Star is Born:” The Concert7:30 p.m. Sunday, Music Pier

Three icons, three beloved movies and three best-selling soundtrack albums makes for one epic celebration. Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga stole our hearts in “A Star is Born.” Now a trio from Broadway and cabaret join forces to celebrate the three iconic film versions.

The show features “The Man That Got Away,” “Shallow” and the Academy Award-winning “Evergreen.” Tickets are $25 to $35.

It’s the final week of the year for many Ocean City summer traditions.

Downtown Market Days10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Asbury Avenue between Sixth Street and 11th Street

Downtown Market Days bring entertainment and kid’s activities to Asbury Avenue.

Family Night7:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, Boardwalk

Bands and other performers throughout the Boardwalk.

Farmers Market, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays (Aug. 28 and Sept. 4), Ocean City Tabernacle

OCNJ Labor Day Race
