Enjoy Last Week Of August In Ocean City: Monday Manual

We’ve reached the last week of August, but summer’s not over yet. There’s still lots going on in Ocean City.

Welcome to the Aug. 26 edition of the Monday Manual, highlighting important and fun events in Ocean City.

Here’s what’s in store:

Monday, Aug. 26

  • Start the week off with yoga on the beach at 8 a.m. on 6th Street Beach Volleyball Courts.
  • Family Nights return to the Boardwalk from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 8th Street and 12th Street. There are jugglers, music, characters and more.
  • Enjoy Graham Nash: More Evenings of Songs & Stories at Music Pier at 7 p.m. Get tickets here.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

  • Beach walks return at 59th St. & Central Ave. (entrance to Corson’s Inlet State Park) every Tuesday at 9 a.m.
  • It’s Funtastic Tuesdays on Asbury Avenue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with entertainment, face painters and balloon sculptors.
  • It’s Mummers Night on the Boardwalk, strutting down 6th Street to 14th Street from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

  • The farmers market returns to the Ocean City Tabernacle grounds from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Start the day off with beach Pilates on 6th Street Beach Volleyball Courts. It’s free; just bring a towel.
  • Beach walks return at 59th St. & Central Ave. (entrance to Corson’s Inlet State Park) every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
  • Family Nights return to the Boardwalk from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 6th Street and 14th Street. There are jugglers, music, characters and more.
  • Celebrate Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and 200th Birthday of “Ode to Joy” at Music Pier at 7:30 p.m. Get tickets here.

Thursday, Aug. 29

  • It’s Market Days on Asbury Avenue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with entertainment, face painters and balloon sculptors.
  • It’s Mummers Night on the Boardwalk, strutting down 6th Street to 14th Street from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 23

  • Start the day off at 8 a.m. with a low-impact beach exercise on 6th Street Beach Volleyball Courts. It’s free; just bring a towel.
