Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it’s time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.
We have all the fireworks shows, parades, and festivals happening in and around Ocean City so you can start planning now.
Here’s what’s in store this July 4 in Ocean City:
July 4 Festivities
What: 2021 Fourth of July Celebration
Where: Kite flying competition followed by entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier and fireworks. The fireworks display will be launched from a barge off Ninth Street Beach and best viewed from the beach and Boardwalk between Fifth and 14th Street.
When: Sunday, July 4. Kites will fly at 7 p.m. and fireworks start at 9 p.m.
The bike parade will return this year starting in the Longport Bridge parking lot at 10 a.m. Sunday.
The Fourth of July holiday weekend kicks off Saturday night with a free outdoor concert at 7:30 p.m. featuring the Ocean City Pops at Carey Stadium. Read more: Ocean City Pops To Perform Free Outdoor Concert July 3
