Ocean City landed two athletes who brought championship to Philadelphia for the city’s Sports Memorabilia Show. Philadelphia Eagle Darren Sproles and former Eagles slugger Matt Stairs will greet fans and take questions March 30.
The showcase takes place at the Ocean City Music Pier from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sproles will lead a meet-and-greet session at 11:45 a.m. Tickets for an autograph on a photo or item you supply, as well as a selfie with Sproles cost $20.
Stairs will hold a meet-and-greet at 2:45 p.m. Tickets for the same package cost $20. A combination package that includes both players is available for $55.
Sproles joined the Eagles in 2014 and was part of their Super Bowl title-winning squad in the 2017 season. He made three Pro Bowls with the Eagles from 2014-16. The all-purpose veteran has recorded 11,227 yards on kickoff and punt returns, leading all active players and standing seventh in NFL history.
Stairs played for the Phillies in 2008 and 2009 and helped the Phillies to the 2008 World Series title. The journeyman played for 12 teams from 1992 to 2011.
