Tickets for three Ocean City shows this summer went on sale Wednesday.
Judy Collins will join the Ocean City Pops at the Ocean City Music Pier on Sunday, Aug. 6. Jackie Evancho will perform with the Pops at the Music Pier on Sunday, Aug. 27. The Pops and the Ocean City Theatre Company will team up to present eight performances of “The Wizard of Oz” from Aug. 1 to 10 at the Bill and Nancy Hughes Performing Arts Center at Ocean City High School.

Inspired by artists such as Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, singer-songwriter Judy Collins hit stardom in 1967 after her cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides, Now” gained international recognition.
During her career, Collins has released over 25 studio albums and numerous live and compilation albums. (Ocean City Music Pier, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, $50 and $40).
Jackie Evancho first dazzled American television audiences in 2010 at the age of 10 with her debut on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” Since then, she has released a string of platinum and gold albums with sales of over 2.5 million in the U.S. All six of her albums have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Classical chart.

The Ocean City Pops and the Ocean City Theatre Company will present a stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved “Wizard of Oz,” featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film.
