Head ‘Into The Woods’ With Ocean City Theatre Company

Take a trip “Into The Woods” with the talented 7th to 12th graders of the Ocean City Theatre Company this weekend.
Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s contemporary classic comes to life at Ocean City Music Pier on Nov. 3 and 4. Curtain for “Into The Woods” is 7:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at oceancitytheatrecompany.com or at the Ocean City Music Pier 45 minutes prior to curtain.
The Tony Award-winning show features timeless storybook characters whose wishes come true, for better or worse.
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
Ocean City Theatre Company’s production of “Into The Woods” is under the direction of Hannah Breed with music direction by Brinley Edwards.
