The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce will present the fourth annual Winterfest by the Sea Holiday Shopping Extravaganza from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Ocean City Civic Center, Sixth Street and the Boardwalk.

The event offers a great opportunity to kick off the holiday season at the shore. Fine hand-crafted items and specialty food gifts from local vendors will be available for purchase, and word has it that the Grinch and Tom Turkey will be strolling through the event.

Free parking will be available in the adjacent municipal parking lot (entrance on Fifth Street). For more information, call 609-399-1412.

OCTC JUNIOR COMPANY PRESENTS ‘INTO THE WOODS’

The Ocean City Theatre Company’s 2023 season continues with a trip “Into the Woods,” featuring a cast of talented students in grades 7 to 12 at the Ocean City Music Pier at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov. 4.

One of Stephen Sondheim’s most popular works, “Into the Woods” is musically sophisticated, while remaining a hilarious dark comedy with poignant lessons about making our dreams come true. Ocean City Theatre Company’s production is under the direction of Hannah Breed, with music direction by Brinley Edwards.

Tickets can be purchased at oceancitytheatrecompany.com or at the Ocean City Music Pier 45 minutes prior to curtain.
