Where To See Santa In Ocean City This Christmas Season

Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Ocean City families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.
In Ocean City, kids have several chances:
- Ocean City’s Christmas parade is on Dec. 1.
- The Ocean City Community Center hosts its annual Holiday Festival from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 3.
- Get photos with Santa in a lifeguard boat through Dec. 23 noon to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays at the Ocean City Music Pier.
- Visit Santa downtown through Dec. 23, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays at Mark Soifer Park, 9th Street, and Asbury Avenue.
Santa arrived on Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.
Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Orlando. In Philadelphia, Santa will be at Macy’s Center City through Dec. 24. Reservations are required, find more for Philadelphia here.
JC Penney stores, including at the Deptford Mall, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
